We invite you to join us in the
Café at the Centre each Sunday evening at 6.30 pm
Each
occasion is based in the Cafe at the Centre and starts with refreshments.
Sunday 1st August
6.30 pmThe voice of art with Jim Scott
Jim and Josephine Scott will be bringing five or six paintings and prints,
mainly of seascapes, they have bought over the years. Jim will say why
they bought them, what they mean to him, give some background and ask
people to discuss them, saying what impression they leave with them.
Sunday 8th August
6.30 pm A healing story
with Vera Froud and Pam Neville
A dramatised reading based on the story in Luke
8:40-48 about the women who
touched the hem of Jesus cloak. Pam Neville and Vera Froud.
Sunday 15th August
6.30 pm The Ministry of Music with Frank and Pat North

Old testament times onwards music has been used when God's people have
worshipped him. What is the purpose of music in worship?
Can musak ('music' wallpaper) ever be appropriate? And is SILENCE -
a rare experience these days - sometimes just as valuable?
